Fahmina leads day-to-day operations and is the firm's point of contact for clients. A Member of the International Association of Bookkeepers (MIAB), with several years of experience in bookkeeping and small-business compliance.
Our approach
Fernside Accounting was incorporated in 2017 (Companies House registration 10867432). The firm focuses on what most small businesses actually need: annual accounts, tax returns, VAT, payroll and bookkeeping — done properly, on time, at a fair monthly price.
Most online accountants at our price point are bookkeeper-led with no chartered oversight. We do it differently: every set of accounts and every tax return at Fernside is reviewed by a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) — Shamim Bhuiyan, a senior tax practitioner — before it goes out.
For complex tax work — R&D claims, restructuring, EIS/SEIS, international tax, HMRC investigations — we refer to our sister firm The Tax Lead, Chartered Certified Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers based in the City of London.
Our head office is in Woodford Green, London. The service itself is delivered online — by email, phone and secure portal — so clients work with us from anywhere in the UK.
